What is CRM?

CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management and is the collection of technologies that help companies streamline their businesses to be more efficient. This includes everything from marketing to leads, to selling products, to supporting customers and analyzing the data involved in those processes!

Why do so many companies choose Salesforce for their CRM?

Salesforce is for businesses what smart phones are for all of us. It streamlines their business, put everything into one tool, allows them to do things that used to take tens of hours with the click of a button. It's literally that impactful. This means more profits, higher margins and business expansion.

What is the long-term demand for Salesforce professionals?

Salesforce is "sticky". When companies use Salesforce it's very hard to leave. It can cost 100s of thousands of $$$ to transition from Salesforce to another platform. The reality is that each year Salesforce is onboarding more and more customers which means more Salesforce jobs every single year.

What is the starting pay for new Salesforce professionals?

Entry-level Salesforce professionals can expect to make between $65k to $75k a year, even if they have never heard of Salesforce prior to joining Talent Stacker. No tech background or tech degree are needed! Those with tech degrees or business/tech backgrounds can get Salesforce salaries at $80k-$100k.

How important is a college degree for Salesforce professionals?

College has some bearing to getting a job as a Salesforce professional, but it is a secondary or even tertiary consideration. Most important to companies is your Salesforce experience, even simulated or volunteer. Salesforce Certifications are also important but you only need 1 or 2 to land your 1st role.

Ok, it’s clear that Salesforce can be a fun and lucrative career. But is it a good fit for me?

Some of this is for you to decide and the best way to figure it out is by trying the Free 5 Day Challenge which you can join here on this page. You can also listen to the Salesforce For Everyone podcast episodes 1-8. After doing those 2 things, you should have an idea if this is something you really want to pursue.

What are some of the big things I can get out of the 5-Day Challenge?

On top of knowing whether or not Salesforce is for you, you're going to learn exactly how to use Trailhead, Salesforce's free training platform. You'll also feel confident getting started networking, what it takes to interview well and how to get hands on experience before landing the first job!

What is the format of the 5-day Challenge?

Each day we are going to take you through a short video talking you through exactly what you need to be doing, and how to complete the task for that day. We get you setup on Trailhead to get your 1st Certification, get you networking, show you how to get hands on experience and ultimately land a job!

What if I don’t have the time to do this in 5 days?

You can take it at your own pace whether it takes, 5 hours, 5 days, or 5 months it's completely up to you and your pacing. Just join and we will take care of the rest!
