We have two daughters 6 and 3 that are being homeschooled. Being a Salesforce professional allows me to dedicate the time needed to effectively school our children while following a rewarding career path.

We have a high school daughter. I am fortunate enough to work remote as a Salesforce Admin and my colleagues are on the west coast so it gives me the morning to work on items without meetings. This allows me to add a few things she would normally not be exposed to.

Working in the Salesforce ecosystem has allowed me to be more involved with schooling for all of my kids. This career path gives me the autonomy I need to be there for my kids while earning an income to support our family.

We homeschool and the only way to do it is through my ability to work remotely which is due to my Salesforce career. I am able to take care of my child with special needs; something that was not possible while working on site. We have been able to accommodate a 100% home based homeschool.

I'm a homeschooling parent who works remotely in Salesforce consulting. One of the reasons I got a job in the industry to begin with was the ability to be available more frequently for my kids.

How can I find time to study for my Salesforce Certification Exam while also managing my children’s education?

Life can definitely be unpredictable with constant interruptions and distractions! We recommend making a game plan and setting aside a set time everyday to study. Even a consistent 1-2 hours a day can really add up over time. Also remember, that everyone’s journey is different, people will take this path at the pace they need. Sometimes life happens and you need to take a break and come back – that is completely okay!

What is the work life balance working as a Salesforce Professional?

Many companies have a, “as long as the work gets done, set your hours” type of policy. You truly can live a life by design, and still help people, where you don’t have to burn yourself out working 60+ hours a week.
